My Final Magazine Cover.
Firstly I edited the image using photoshop levels and curves tools, adding a mask and creating several layers. I then added a mask and enlarged the image. I wanted the image to be large enough to slightly go into the title of the magazine so made sure it was large enough. I then added all the text and the barcode.
I am really pleased with how it turned out and think the colours, the image and the title all work well together.
I decided to go with the name “ICONIC” as it was my favourite, quite popular in the poll I did and thought it reflected the look of the images and  the style of magazine I was going for. “POISE” was another popular choice but I thought it suited an older/sophisticated audience and didn’t reflect the audience for my magazine.
I think this is the best image for the cover, I tried another one which I have put in my sketchbook but didn’t feel it worked as well.
I am so pleased with how this has turned out :)

FLY ON THE WALL.

After having a discussion with barry about the street style aspect of my project he mentioned the idea of “Fly on the wall”. I then thought about the idea of taking pictures without the subject knowing. This may add a naturalistic approach and depth to my street style photography. Therefore I have been looking at fly on the wall street style images for inspiration :)

Statement of intent for Self Identified Brief:
Having a love of fashion and fashion magazines since a child I have always wanted to work in fashion. After enjoying and doing well in the photography project I have decided to focus on fashion photography and styling for my self identified project.
My aim is to produce:
- Mood boards and story boards of chosen trends
- Complete several photo shoots for my chosen trends/themes
- Present my shoots in a magazine spread
- Also do the same with street -style photography, perhaps shooting on the streets of Manchester…
These are just my first few ideas but I am really excited about this project :)
